Motorola Edge 50 Fusion launch in India is scheduled for the next week, the company revealed on Wednesday, May 8, in an X post. The e-commerce platform Flipkart has declared that it will go official. In April, the Motorola phone made its debut in a few areas, including Europe. Alongside the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra and Motorola Edge 50 Pro, it was unveiled. In India, the latter is already accessible.
Motorola Edge 50 Fusion has a display refresh rate of 144 Hz, an IP68-rated construction, two 50-megapixel rear cameras, and capability for 68W rapid charging. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC powers the smartphone.
On May 16 at 12:00 PM IST, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is expected to be launched in India. Motorola is teasing the debut with several tweets via its official X handle. Flipkart has released its details on a special landing page.

Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is expected to come with up to 12GB of onboard RAM and be offered in Marshmallow Blue, Hot Pink, and Forest Blue, according to Flipkart’s website. It is hinted that it will run the Hello UI based on Android 14 and have a 6.7-inch curved pOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. An in-display fingerprint sensor will be a feature.
Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC and up to 12GB of RAM are confirmed to power the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion’s Indian version. It will have two rear cameras: a 13-megapixel ultrawide macro shooter and a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 700C main sensor. A 32-megapixel selfie sensor is also displayed in the listing.
In India, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is hinted to support Wi-Fi 6 and 15 5G bands. It will have an IP68-rated water-repellent construction and a 5,000mAh battery with 68W rapid charging.
Motorola Edge 50 Fusion’s Indian price has not yet been disclosed by Motorola. Nevertheless, the phone was first available in Europe for EUR 399, or around Rs. 35,900. The Motorola Edge 40, which was introduced in the nation last year, is the follow-up to the Edge 30.
